Canada’s national cricket team recently spent several weeks training and competing in Colombo. They will return to Sri Lankan in early 2011 to compete in the World Cup being jointly hosted by Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh. The team was hosted to an informal BBQ at the Official Residence by High Commissioner of Canada, Bruce Levy and Mme Ingrid Knutson. Sri Lankan-born Canadian Pubudu Dassanayake is the coach of the Canadian team.
